We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Expo/Food Runner to join our vibrant hospitality team! Duties
- Safely handle and transport food orders from the kitchen to dining areas
- Clear and clean tables promptly by bussing dishes, glassware, and utensils to maintain a clean dining environment
- Support kitchen staff
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas through regular cleaning and sanitation of workstations, ensuring compliance with health regulations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key!
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interactions
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during busy shifts
- A proactive attitude with excellent guest service skills and a positive approach to teamwork
