Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in laundry services, particularly within a hotel or dry cleaning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and clothing
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers and dryers
- Inspect items for stains and damage before washing
- Iron and press garments as needed
- Keep laundry area clean and organized
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and linens
- Follow proper safety procedures when handling chemicals
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in laundry services, especially in a hotel or dry cleaning setting
- Knowledge of different fabrics and their appropriate care methods
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
