Labor Finders is hiring an experienced CNC Machinist for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity in Melbourne, FL. In this role, you'll set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts, interpret blueprints and engineering drawings, edit basic CNC programs, and inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist looking to join a growing manufacturing team.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements.
- Edit and troubleshoot basic G-code and M-code programs.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain accurate production records.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of CNC machining experience.
- Strong blueprint reading skills and understanding of GD&T.
- Ability to write or edit basic G-code and M-code.
- Experience setting tool offsets and work offsets, and using precision measuring equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of the shift.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
