Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic cardiology team. The ideal candidate will have acute care or cardiology experience and will be responsible for patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and managing follow-up care in our fast-paced clinical setting.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests)
- Prescribe medications and manage chronic cardiac conditions
- Provide patient education on disease prevention and lifestyle modification
- Collaborate with our cardiologists to ensure continuity of care
**Requirements:**
- Current NP certification with prescriptive authority
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiology or acute care
- Strong knowledge of cardiac medications and treatment protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
