Job Summary
Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist and play a vital role in promoting optimal oral health and creating positive patient experiences. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will deliver high-quality preventative dental care, educate patients on maintaining healthy smiles, and support the overall success of our practice. 1-3 days/week. Monday-Wednesday.
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, dietary habits, and preventive care strategies.
- Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments with professionalism and efficiency.
- Chart patient information accurately in electronic health records while ensuring confidentiality.
- Instruct patients on proper brushing, flossing techniques, and use of dental products to maintain oral health at home.
- Maintain a clean, organized operatories and sterilize dental instruments according to infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state or regional regulations.
- Proven experience in performing dental cleanings, radiography, and patient education.
- Strong knowledge of oral anatomy, periodontal disease prevention, and infection control standards.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and motivate patients of all ages.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage patient records accurately.
- Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care.
