We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to lead our restaurant team to success! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and manage staff to deliver a memorable dining experience. Your leadership will inspire your team, uphold food safety standards, and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced, vibrant environment. This person must have a strong knowledge of the BOH as the primary role of this position will be a BOH Manager.
Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service flow, and cleanliness standards
- Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives
- Manage shift schedules, ensuring optimal staffing levels for busy periods
- Oversee inventory control, food safety compliance, and proper food handling procedures
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Assist with hiring processes including interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members
- Monitor food production and kitchen management to maintain high-quality culinary standards
- Control budgets, manage costs, and implement strategies to maximize profitability
- Support catering, banquet events, or bar services as needed to enhance guest experiences
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
- Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
- Demonstrated supervisory skills with a focus on staff training & development
- Knowledge of inventory control, food management, and kitchen operations
- Excellent customer service skills with a hospitality-oriented mindset
- Ability to lead teams effectively in high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism
- Prior experience in hotel or catering environments is a plus; culinary or food industry background highly valued
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing budgets and operational procedures

Pay: $42,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
