Burkard Custom Cabinets is seeking a Cabinet Maker Apprentice / Junior Cabinet Maker to join our growing team in Glenmoore, PA.
We specialize in high-end custom cabinetry, built-ins, and specialty woodworking projects for discerning homeowners throughout the region. We are looking for someone who wants more than just a job—we are looking for someone who wants to learn the craft of custom cabinetmaking and build a long-term career.
This position works directly alongside our Lead Cabinet Maker and is intended to develop into a highly skilled cabinet maker role over time.
We are not a production shop. Every project is custom. Attention to detail, craftsmanship, and pride in your work are essential.
What You'll Do
- Assemble custom cabinetry and built-ins
- Operate woodworking equipment including CNC machinery and edgebanders
- Sand, prep, and assist with spray finishing operations
- Participate in specialty woodworking projects
- Install cabinetry, trim, and millwork in customer homes
- Perform light drywall repairs and touch-up painting as needed during installations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow established shop standards and quality expectations

To be considered, applicants must:

- Participate in a skills assessment covering basic math, fractions, measurements, and tool familiarity
- Complete an in-person interview and shop evaluation
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
