Summary
We are seeking a passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team at Chagrin Falls Daycare and Preschool. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment that fosters the growth and development of young children. This position is essential to our mission of providing exceptional care and education.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
- Provide first aid and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Engage with children through play, educational activities, and daily routines.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the classroom.
Requirements
- Experience in childcare or early childhood education preferred.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- First Aid and CPR certification required or willingness to obtain it.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.
