Job Description or Position summary:
A production trimmer will be expected to trim flash material from production targets of various sizes. They are responsible for maintaining a safe work environment while adhering to standard operating procedures, meeting performance expectations, and producing quality products.
Duties:
· Handle production targets, utilize hand tools to cut flashing material from targets.
· Utilize various hand/power tools in accordance with standard operating procedures.
· Accurately record production information.
· Responsible for active participation in department communication meetings.
· Provide recommendations when necessary for optimizing equipment and machinery to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost goals.
· Maintain a clean work area.
· Practice safe work behaviors.
· Adhere to all 5S requirements.
· Ability to lift 20-80 pounds.
Skills required:
· Strong desire to achieve while working within and supporting a team environment.
· Self-starter, hardworking with a positive attitude.
· Must be able to read, write, and comprehend the meaning of basic communications.
· You must be able to remain on your feet in an upright position and move about on foot for the duration of the shift. You will also bend, twist, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch and reach above shoulder level.
· You have basic counting and math skills.

· 10-hour shift
· 1st shift: 5:00 am – 3:15 pm
· Monday – Thursday
· Overtime
Compensation:
· $16.00
