Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair styling, hair extensions, barbering, and scalp treatments tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Perform nail services including manicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail application, nail extensions, pedicures, and nail care consultations.
- Conduct hair & skin care treatments while adhering to all sanitation and disinfection procedures.
- Apply eyelash extensions and hair threading techniques to enhance clients’ natural beauty.
- Educate clients on nail care, hair styling options, and retail products; upsell suitable products to meet their needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following salon safety protocols and sanitation standards consistently.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired outcomes and provide expert recommendations.
- Stay current with industry trends in color theory, new techniques, and beauty innovations to deliver cutting-edge services.
- Manage retail sales efficiently using retail math skills while ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid state cosmetology license with comprehensive knowledge of salon safety protocols and sanitation procedures.
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of services including hair styling, nail extensions, skin treatments, and waxing.
- Proficiency in color theory, gel manicures, acrylic nail application, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their beauty goals.
- Strong customer service orientation with a passion for delivering memorable salon experiences.
- Ability to perform multiple services such as body waxing, hair threading, hair extensions, and barbering confidently.
- Retail sales experience with a focus on upselling products that enhance client results.
