Duties and Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility will be assisting and completing maintenance work orders within our portfolio of properties.
- You will also assist and complete work orders, section 8 and city deficiency reports in the same neighborhoods
- Should be knowledgeable in all areas of maintenance. You will be responsible for light plumbing (snaking of interior drains, garbage disposal installation, change out diverters, stems, etc), vinyl flooring installation, carpentry, light electrical, exterior curb appeal, and interior maintenance including blind, fan, and door installation
- You will be responsible for reporting to the home office with preventative maintenance suggestion for our properties, maintaining levels inside of maintenance lockers
- Must be able to maintain deadlines, as well as be detail, and budget-oriented.
- Perform unit inspections on and implement corporate policies
- Assist in overall aesthetics of buildings

- Qualifications and Skills:
- Drug-Free
- Valid Driver's License and Transportation
- Be able to create a budget and plan of action
- Prior experience in apartment turns and general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, flooring installation, painting and patching
- Proficient with e-mail
- HVAC certification (preferred)
- RRP Lead Certification (preferred)
- Familiar with Appliance repairs (preferred)
- Should own simple tools
- should have a reliable vehicle. A weekly gas allowance will be given . There may be opportunity for company vehicle after 90 day probationary period.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.21 - $25.81 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
