Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 plus up to 15% annual bonus Shift: 1st
shift, Monday-Friday
This is a high-impact finance role for a manufacturing
professional who thrives as a true business partner. Based at the Waukesha
facility, you will provide financial leadership and cost expertise across three
production operations (Waukesha, Beloit, and Atlanta). Expect regular
collaboration with local operations teams and global stakeholders while driving
cost competitiveness, accurate reporting, and smarter decision-making.
Home base is Waukesha with travel to Beloit approximately every
other week and to Atlanta at least quarterly. The Atlanta site offers
especially strong opportunity for someone ready to add meaningful support and
structure. This position reports to the Director of Finance for Consumables
Operations. Easy commute from Milwaukee, Brookfield, Pewaukee, New Berlin,
Delafield, Hartland, Menomonee Falls, Mukwonago, and surrounding Waukesha
County communities.
Responsibilities
- Partner directly with operations leadership to deliver financial guidance, policy insight, and clear analysis that supports day-to-day and strategic decisions.
- Lead the full forecasting and budgeting process for the production units, then track performance against plan and drive accountability.
- Own key operational cost elements including capacity costs, utilization, hourly rates, and absorption to improve overall competitiveness.
- Manage controlling activities for inventory, work-in-process, fixed assets, investments, and net working capital.
- Prepare accurate monthly reporting that aligns with the global supply organization’s management system and evolving reporting standards.
- Analyze business performance measures and KPIs, then coach operations teams on finance-related topics so they can act on the numbers.
- Drive continuous improvement in global management reporting structures across the three sites.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable accounting practices, internal controls, and governance requirements (including SOX, IAS/IFRS, and US GAAP).
- Support a culture of health, safety, and environmental responsibility while modeling company values and business principles.
Note: Accounts payable and accounts receivable are handled by the
global finance team. This role focuses on production controlling, cost
management, and operational partnership.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
- 4-7 years of progressive experience in financial management, business controlling, or cost accounting within an international manufacturing environment.
- Direct experience with product or project manufacturing financial management and ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft 365 skills plus working knowledge of modern BI tools.
- Strong ability to organize, prioritize, and deliver results in a fast-paced setting that balances routine controlling with process development.
- Proven collaborator who works proactively, stays results-oriented, and communicates clearly in English (written and spoken).
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly between the production sites as outlined.
