Take the Lead on the Jobsite A growing mechanical contractor is looking for an experienced Pipefitter Foreman to take ownership of commercial and industrial projects in the Lansdale area. This is a hands-on leadership position for a pipefitter who is ready to do more than install. You will lead crews, work directly with project managers and other trades, plan ahead, solve problems in the field, and help drive projects through completion.
What You'll Do
- Lead and direct field crews while maintaining quality and productivity
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Coordinate piping work with other trades and identify potential conflicts
- Work closely with Project Managers to keep projects on schedule
- Plan ahead for materials, manpower, tools, equipment, and upcoming work
- Track manpower, progress, and project documentation
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and deliveries
- Support equipment startup, testing, commissioning, and project closeout
- Train and guide apprentices and journeymen
- Lead toolbox talks and maintain a strong focus on jobsite safety
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of commercial or industrial field experience
- Previous Pipefitter Foreman or comparable field leadership experience
- Strong understanding of piping systems, installation, equipment, and applicable codes
- Ability to confidently read drawings and coordinate with other trades
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR are a plus
