We are a small, experienced team with a reputation for quality, integrity, and craftsmanship. We’re growing and looking for a skilled CNC Machinist & Setup Specialist who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a stable, long-term team here on the Central Coast.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes (Haas)
- Perform tool changes, offsets, work holding, and setups independently
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings
- Work from GibbsCAM programs and make minor program edits
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision tools
- Maintain high-quality standards for tight-tolerance parts
- Collaborate with team members to improve setups and machining efficiency
- Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area
What You Bring
✅ 3+ years of CNC machining & setup experience
✅ Experience running Haas controls
✅ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
✅ Strong understanding of tooling, speeds/feeds, and machining fundamentals
✅ Hands-on problem solver who can work independently
✅ Quality-minded with strong attention to detail
Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required)
- Experience using GibbsCAM
- Background machining medical or defense parts
- Prototype and small-run precision machining experience
- Knowledge of process improvement or lean manufacturing

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
