Home Instead is hiring compassionate and dependable Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) for daytime assignments throughout Essex and Union Counties. Whether you're looking for part-time or full-time hours, we offer flexible day shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours, consistent local assignments, and a supportive team that values your work.

4, 8, 10, and 12-hour assignments

Company-sponsored Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) course for eligible full-time CHHAs
A caring, family-oriented team with 24/7 support whenever you need it
Provide companionship and emotional support
Assist with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
Provide medication reminders
Assist with mobility, transfers, and client safety
Support clients living with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia
Active New Jersey CHHA license required
Valid driver's license and reliable insured vehicle
Authorized to work in the United States
Recent physical, TB test, and MMR vaccination records
At least 1 year of caregiving experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working around pets
