Qualifications:

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for the following:

Prior to admission, the RN will develop all necessary nursing and health care plans, including plans related to restricted health care conditions and other health care needs. The RN will also ensure that all direct support staff are trained on these plans before the individual begins receiving services.
The RN will train staff on all nursing care plans and the individual’s restricted health care plans to ensure consistent and appropriate care delivery, in coordination with the Regional Center Health Services team.
The RN will develop, review, and update care plans regularly, in collaboration with the IDT.
The RN will identify, monitor, and track each individual's medical and other health-related needs, ensuring timely updates and communication with the care team.
The RN will meet with individuals at least monthly to assess health progress and provide ongoing training to staff on care strategies.
The RN will train staff to recognize and appropriately respond to symptoms and other observable indicators of medical or cognitive decline, including clear instructions on when and whom to contact in response.
The RN will monitor staff to ensure compliance with medication administration protocols and best practices.
The RN will have direct oversight of LVN staff, ensuring they adhere to care standards and training requirements.
The RN will train staff to implement designated procedures that do not require a nursing license and ensure findings are accurately reported to the administrator.

The RN will provide 10 hours monthly of consulting hours.

Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
