Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing floors to maintain cleanliness and appearance.
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure a hygienic environment in all areas.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely to clean surfaces, carpets, and upholstery.
- Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or large items with proper technique to prevent injury.
- Maintain organization of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used correctly and stored safely.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service while respecting their privacy.
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial or custodial roles preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, floor care, and surface cleaning techniques.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, and floor buffers confidently.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents and chemicals, including proper handling and safety protocols.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
- Physical stamina for outdoor work experience, heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
- Effective client communication skills to ensure satisfaction and address any special requests or concerns.
