Full Job Description
A client of ours in McMinnville is looking to add a CNC Mill Operator to their growing manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with CNC milling experience or a strong machine operation background who is looking to grow into a CNC career. You'll be operating a Haas VF-5 CNC Mill to produce high-quality precision parts in a clean and team-oriented shop.
If you have experience with CNC programming or G-code, that's a huge plus—but it's not required. Our client is willing to train the right candidate who has solid manufacturing experience and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Haas VF-5 CNC milling machine
- Load and unload materials and monitor machine operation
- Read work orders, blueprints, and part specifications
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Make tool offsets and minor machine adjustments as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Assist with programming or setup when experience allows
Qualifications:
- Previous CNC mill operation experience preferred
- Any sheet metal experience is helpful
- Machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment will be considered
- Experience with Haas controls is a plus
- G-code knowledge or CNC programming experience is a plus, but not required
Pay: $20-$25/hr DOE
