The primary function of the Account Manager position is to be the day-to-day liaison between the agency and its prospective and current clients, providing quality service. Daily service of clients will include coverage issues, making changes to policies, answering routine coverage questions, problem solving, submitting claims, and anything else a client may seek assistance with. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Servicing of client accounts
-Building and maintaining relationships with existing clients and new clients
-Provide consistent, accurate and timely communication to clients
-Conducting face to face meetings with clients as necessary
-Educating clients about coverage needs
-Assisting clients with change requests and providing necessary documentation
-Handling cancellation of existing policies
-Quoting new personal lines business
- Knowledge of all carrier underwriting requirements for personal lines
-Maintaining correct documentation for support
- Providing excellent customer service to assist with client retention
- Taking care of all client needs in a professional and timely manner
- Up-selling and processing renewals
- Handling claims and rating
- Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
-Experience needed.
-The ability to communicate insurance coverage clearly
-Excellent organizational & time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
-Ability to handle a multi-line phone, and knowledge of basic office computer software
-Strong written and verbal communication
-Ability to thrive in a team environment and ability to work independently
-Ability to be self-disciplined and to stay on task
-Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- Having a Life and Health Insurance license is a plus
