Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver goods along designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
- Manage delivery schedules efficiently, ensuring on-time arrivals at multiple customer locations throughout your shift
- Communicate clearly with customers upon delivery, providing exceptional service and addressing any questions or concerns
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, including heavy lifting when necessary, while maintaining safety protocols
- Use organizational skills to verify delivery orders, navigate routes efficiently, and handle cash or payment transactions when applicable
Qualifications
- Clean driving record is essential
- Strong knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers professionally and effectively
- Basic math skills for handling pricing, payments, and inventory counts
- Experience in customer service or sales is preferred; a friendly demeanor is a must!
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes
- Organizational skills to manage schedules, paperwork, and route planning seamlessly
Pay: $750.00 - $1,000.00 per week
