About Us
Rhode Island Counseling Associates is one of the state's leading outpatient mental health practices, dedicated to making quality mental health care accessible throughout Rhode Island. We are looking for an outgoing, motivated Professional Relations Consultant to help expand our presence in the community by building relationships with healthcare providers and referral partners.
Position Overview
As our PRC, you will be the face of Rhode Island Counseling Associates throughout the state. You'll travel to physician offices, hospitals, urgent care centers, schools, and other healthcare organizations to introduce our services, build lasting relationships, and distribute marketing materials. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys meeting new people, networking, and representing an organization that makes a meaningful impact in the community.
Responsibilities
- Travel throughout Rhode Island to visit physician offices, specialists, hospitals, schools, and community organizations.
- Build and maintain relationships with doctors, office managers, referral coordinators, and healthcare professionals.
- Deliver brochures, marketing materials, and educational resources.
- Represent Rhode Island Counseling Associates in a professional, friendly, and knowledgeable manner.
- Attend networking events, health fairs, and community outreach opportunities.
- Educate referral partners about our counseling services, specialties, and referral process.
- Identify new referral opportunities and develop relationships with potential partners.
- Track visits, contacts, and outreach efforts.
- Communicate feedback from the community to leadership to help improve outreach efforts.
- Collaborate with our marketing team on outreach campaigns and promotional initiatives.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable speaking with healthcare professionals and community leaders.
- Friendly, confident, and self-motivated.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Rhode Island.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Sales, marketing, healthcare, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
