Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Full Stack Developer to lead the development of a Custom Field Service Portal tailored for a Landcare organization. Duties
- Design, develop, and maintain a comprehensive web-based portal utilizing front-end JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular, coupled with back-end technologies like Ruby on Rails or.NET.
- Implement RESTful APIs to enable smooth communication between the portal and various backend systems, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Architect scalable microservices using cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS or Azure, optimizing for performance and reliability across diverse user scenarios.
- Collaborate within Agile software development teams to plan sprints, conduct code reviews, and deliver iterative enhancements aligned with project goals.
- Develop and maintain database schemas using SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) to support complex data relationships and reporting needs.
- Apply design patterns and system design principles to create flexible, maintainable codebases that accommodate future growth and feature expansion.
- Utilize version control tools like GitHub or SVN to manage code repositories effectively, ensuring seamless collaboration among team members.
- Integrate CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of the application environment.
- Ensure the portal adheres to security best practices including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) for user permissions and compliance with data privacy standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in full stack software development with a strong portfolio of web applications built using JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Solid understanding of server-side programming languages including Ruby on Rails, Python, C#, or Java, with experience in application development within cloud environments like AWS or Azure.
- Hands-on experience designing RESTful APIs and working with microservices architecture to build scalable systems.
- Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL or SQL Server, including schema design and query optimization.
- Knowledge of software engineering principles including design patterns, system architecture, version control (Git/GitHub), and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience working within Agile methodologies to deliver projects efficiently through iterative cycles.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components relevant to web applications, including Linux servers and cloud infrastructure services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to translate complex requirements into technical solutions that are both innovative and reliable.
- Bonus skills include experience with C#,.NET framework, front-end development expertise (React/Express), APIs integration, scalability planning, and familiarity with quantum engineering concepts is a plus.

Pay: $49,820.78 - $59,999.21 per year
