Full Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced furniture Sales Consultant to join our Novi Sales Team. The ideal candidate has a background in furniture sales, a positive attitude, is highly motivated and has a passion for exceptional customer service.

Job Responsibilities:
· Engage and assist customers in finding furniture solutions that fit their current needs, resulting in a welcoming sales experience.
· Strong communication skills through consistent follow-up processes that ultimately lead to long-term customer relationships.
· Maintain updated product knowledge through sales training and self-directed research.
· Utilize computer skills for professional email communications and sale transactions.
· Maintain a positive and professional working environment while interacting with customers as well as sales team members.
· Meet and exceed monthly sales goals.
· Required to work weekends. Closed New Years Day, Easter, Mother’s and Father’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Qualifications + Preferred Skills:
· Previous sales experience in retail, preferably in the furniture or home furnishings industry, is preferred but not required.
· Passion for furniture, design and working with people.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
· Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering a positive shopping experience.
· Exceptional listening and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a sales team.
· Basic computer skills.
· Coachable and self-motivated to learn and improve sales process.
· This is a 32-hour full-time position.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to sit, stand and move around the showroom and occasionally walk briskly.
· Must be able to see well enough and read printed materials and across the showroom.
· Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with customers and other employees.
· Must be able to move furniture and lift 50 pounds.

The store manager will arrange your schedule around the hours of operations:
Monday: 10-6 pm
Tuesday: 10-5pm
Wednesday: 10-5 pm
Thursday: 10-6pm
Friday: 10-5pm
Saturday: 10-5pm
Sunday: 12-5pm
Pay: $40,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
