Job Overview
VA Commercial Repair Solutions is hiring a skilled Field Service Technician specializing in commercial appliance repair and refrigeration systems. This role involves diagnosing, servicing, and maintaining equipment such as commercial refrigerators, freezers, ovens, dishwashers, ice machines, and other kitchen and facility appliances. You’ll travel throughout the Shenandoah Valley- Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, Staunton to support restaurants, retail locations, and commercial clients with reliable, expert service.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair commercial appliances including refrigeration units, ovens, dishwashers, and ice machines
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Install and replace appliance components and systems
- Communicate clearly with clients and document service details
- Collaborate with HVAC and electrical teams when needed
- Ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards
- Mentor junior technicians and support team development
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in appliance repair, refrigeration, or related fields
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work in varied environments
- Experience training or mentoring junior techs is a plus
