The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Graphic Apparel Designer to support the development of immersive, story-driven apparel collections for primarily themed entertainment environments. This role works closely with senior design leadership to translate narrative, intellectual property, and guest experiences into compelling, production-ready products.
The ideal candidate is both creatively strong and execution-focused, with the ability to take direction and elevate concepts through thoughtful design, technical precision, and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Concept Development & Design Support
- Support the creation of apparel concepts rooted in themed environments, attractions, and storytelling.
- Translate creative direction into cohesive product designs across categories (e.g., lounge, lifestyle, park-ready apparel).
- Contribute ideas that align with brand voice, guest experience, and current trends.
Design Execution
- Create sketches, mockups, and presentation materials that clearly communicate design intent.
- Execute graphics, typography, and artwork under established creative direction.
- Apply and adapt multiple visual styles (e.g., vintage, character-driven, graphic, illustrative).
Embellishment & Detail Design
- Design and develop embellishment techniques including embroidery, appliqué, chenille, chain stitch, woven labels, and trims.
- Ensure all details are thoughtfully integrated and aligned with the overall concept.
Technical Development
- Assist in creating tech packs with clear construction, material, and trim specifications.
- Partner with product development teams to support sample execution.
- Review samples and incorporate feedback on fit, materials, and construction.
Trend & Research
- Conduct trend and market research across fashion, youth culture, and themed retail.
- Bring forward relevant ideas that support ongoing product development.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with senior designers and cross-functional teams to execute product vision.
- Clearly communicate design intent through visual and written materials.
- Support the design process from concept through production.
Qualifications
- 3–6+ years of experience in apparel design.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both graphic apparel design and illustration.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Experience with tech pack creation and product development processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with licensed or IP-driven product.
- Background in themed entertainment, lifestyle, or graphic-driven apparel.
- Exposure to multiple design aesthetics and storytelling approaches.
- Familiarity with 3D visualization or digital garment tools. Proficiency in CLO 3D design software is a significant advantage.

Salary Range
$USD annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
