Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Key Account Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to follow through processes with limited oversight. A background in wire and cable sales or as a mil spec vendor is a bonus.
You will be responsible for maintaining client relationships, facilitating communication flow and promoting our range of products, including low voltage and high voltage electronic and electrical wire, cable and wire management products as well as standard cable and custom cable assemblies. This role requires a customer-centric attitude, proficiency in CRM/ERP software, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison between the internal team, customers, and suppliers.
- Process sales orders, track shipments, and manage inventory levels.
- Respond to customer pricing inquiries and quote as needed.
- Source and locate necessary suppliers as needed to quote to customers.
- Prepare and distribute sales reports, presentations, and proposals.
- Maintain and update customer databases (CRM and ERP) with accurate and timely information.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of products to customers.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Generate and analyze reports to support the team in decision-making.
- Assist in the implementation of sales strategies and initiatives.
- Support marketing campaigns and promotions by providing necessary sales data and materials.
Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM or ERP software.
Preferred:
- Experience with financial software, especially QuickBooks.
- Proven experience in a sales support role, preferably in the Mil spec. wire and cable markets.
- Knowledge of sales and marketing principles or degree in Business, Marketing or related field is a plus.
