What You'll Do (Your Impactful Role):
- Be a Key Player in Patient Care: Work chairside, assisting our dentists in a wide range of dental procedures with precision and a calm, reassuring presence.
- Master of Preparation & Sterilization: Expertly set up treatment rooms for procedures and meticulously clean, sterilize, and maintain instruments and equipment, ensuring the highest standards of safety and infection control.
- Capture Crystal-Clear Images: Confidently take high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral photographs, contributing to accurate diagnoses and treatment planning.
- Facilitate Smooth Treatment Experiences: Prepare patients for treatments, ensure their comfort, and assist in reviewing and clarifying treatment plans, ensuring patients feel informed and at ease.
- Embrace Digital Workflows: Utilize your computer skills to help maintain accurate patient records and engage with our practice management software (proficiency with Dentrix Ascend is a definite plus!).
- Champion a Positive Patient Atmosphere: Your friendly and professional communication will be key in making every patient feel welcome, comfortable, and well-cared for throughout their visit.
Who You Are (The Qualities You Bring):
- Experienced & Knowledgeable: You have prior experience working as a dental assistant in a dental office setting.
- A People Person, Through & Through: You genuinely enjoy interacting with people all day, possessing a naturally friendly, outgoing personality and a consistently professional demeanor.
- An Excellent Communicator: You have strong verbal communication skills, able to explain procedures clearly and listen empathetically to patients.
- Clinically Skilled: You are trained and confident in taking X-rays, sterilization techniques, and efficiently setting up and breaking down treatment rooms.
- Tech-Comfortable: You are proficient with computers and comfortable learning new dental software and technologies.
- A Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to working alongside a hardworking, supportive team.
Key Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant (1 year preferred).
- X-Ray Certification (Preferred).
- Solid understanding of dental procedures, sterilization, and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in computer use; experience with Dentrix Ascend is a significant advantage.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
