Job Overview
We’re looking for a friendly and energetic Food Service / Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, preparing tasty sandwiches and ensuring every guest has a positive experience. Duties
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions, cash handling, and order processing.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food prep area, adhering to food safety management practices.
- Assist with food handling, stocking supplies, and ensuring proper food storage procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales.
- Support team members with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy work environment.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
Skills
- Previous experience in food preparation or quick service restaurants is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
