Overview
Male needed to round off our team. We are seeking a motivated male Patient Care Coordinators to join and strengthen our outpatient medical services team. This role is ideal for organized, adaptable professionals who work well in a paired, team-based environment and are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care across community clinics and secure correctional facilities and in the community and surrounding counties in Florida. Former working with Public Health or City Health Departments in STD or HIV space a plus
This position requires strong phlebotomy skills, flexibility, professionalism, and the ability to work collaboratively in dynamic care settings.
Duties
- Perform basic health screenings and blood and urine specimen collection (phlebotomy experience required)
- Assist with patient intake, scheduling, follow-ups, and EMR/EHR documentation
- Work as part of a two-person care coordination team at community sites and correctional facilities
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure continuity and quality of care
- Travel locally and regionally within Florida to support outpatient and community-based services
- Maintain professionalism and patient confidentiality in secure environments
Qualifications
- 2+ year of experience in phlebotomy, medical assisting, or a related clinical field
- Phlebotomy/specimen collection experience required
- Knowledge of HIV/STD prevention, counseling, or risk assessment preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Comfortable working with diverse populations and in secure correctional facilities
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout Florida
- Occasional Saturday availability if needed
- Comfortable using EMR/EHR systems (or willing to learn)
- Demonstrated compassion, professionalism, and excellent interpersonal skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $23.50 per hour
