As a Teller at our Norwalk Branch, you will play a key role in creating exceptional member experiences by establishing, retaining, and deepening member relationships through friendly, accurate, and efficient service. This position is responsible for processing transactions, understanding and applying credit union policies and procedures, and identifying opportunities to meet members' financial needs. Ideal candidates are outgoing, service-focused individuals who enjoy building meaningful relationships and are passionate about helping members achieve financial success while contributing to a positive and welcoming branch environment.
As we continue expanding our footprint in the Norwalk area and growing our branch network, we have multiple Teller opportunities available. The Norwalk location is currently under construction. We are hiring now to allow ample training time prior to our grand opening. Training will be completed at our North Des Moines location
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process various in-branch services including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, create cashier’s checks, check orders and bond redemptions.
- Debit card maintenance and assist with account notifications, security questions, contact information and addresses
- Balances Cash Recyclers, Vault and Coin machine.
- Upholds customer confidentiality in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Maintains a working understanding of depository products and services. Identify cross-need opportunities.
- Develops and maintains positive relationships with members and employees.
- Volunteer in local community events, charities, and non-profit organizations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferred six to 12 months experience in customer facing interactions and cash handling.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
