Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Daycare Teacher/ Teacher Assistant to join our team and provide a nurturing and educational environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and creating a safe space for children to learn and grow.
Duties:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate children's physical, emotional, and intellectual growth
- Provide basic care and ensure the well-being of all children in the daycare
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning experience
Skills:
- Classroom management
- Experience in daycare, childhood development, or early childhood education
- Knowledge of special education practices is a plus
- Previous experience in nannying, babysitting, or working with children
- Ability to engage and interact with children of various ages
- Proficiency in toddler care techniques
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles
- First aid certification is preferred
