Project Manager - Heavy Civil
A heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects from planning through completion.
Responsibilities
- Manage project schedule, budget, safety, quality, and profitability
- Coordinate field teams, subcontractors, equipment, and materials
- Review contracts, plans, specifications, and project requirements
- Monitor costs, production, labor, and overall project performance
- Manage client communication, meetings, reporting, and documentation
- Prepare estimates, billings, forecasts, and change orders
- Identify project risks, delays, and additional work
- Support field teams with technical and operational issues
- Ensure projects are completed according to contract requirements
- Manage project closeout and final documentation
Qualifications
- 8+ years of construction management experience
- Heavy civil or specialty construction experience
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of scheduling, estimating, cost control, safety, and contract administration
- Ability to read plans, specifications, and construction documents
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills
- Willingness to travel to project sites
Experience with earthwork, environmental remediation, geotechnical construction, flood control, dredging, water resources, or similar infrastructure projects is preferred.
Pay: $130,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
