Lawn care specialists perform a variety of duties including fertilization, weed control, insect control, disease control, core aerating, seeding, and soil testing. Customer service is a key element of the position, as well as product handling, mixing, and application. Good communication skills and a clean driving record are a must.
Responsibilities and Duties Include (but not limited to):
Daily preparation and maintenance of truck, equipment, and inventory.
Driving to clients' properties.
Performing lawn care tasks on clients' properties including applying fertilizer, weed control, insect control, disease control, core aerating, seeding, and soil testing.
Monitoring clients' lawn and landscape quality.
Qualifications and Skills
Have a positive attitude and be self-motivated.
Willing to learn.
Have a professional appearance.
Work well independently as well as with others.
Have excellent communication skills.
Able and willing to work in various weather conditions.
Able to start work by 6:30 am.
Able to work 8-10 hours per day.
Willing to become licensed to apply pesticides.
Ability to lift or carry up to 30 pounds.
Have a clean driving record. No DUIs!
Have a valid GA driver's license.
Have reliable transportation.
Have at least a High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 21.
Able to pass a background and drug screening.
