Overview
We’re seeking a dedicated RN/DON to provide medical oversight and leadership across multiple group home locations in the North Central Valley. The RN/DON will create and maintain individualized care plans, develop and enforce health-related policies and procedures, and provide ongoing staff training to ensure safe, high-quality care in compliance with AHCCCS, DDD, and Arizona Board of Nursing standards.
Duties
- Conduct health assessments & screenings
- Develop, implement, and monitor care plans
- Establish, update, and oversee nursing policies & procedures
- Train and supervise staff on healthcare tasks and best practices
- Administer medications and monitor effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with AHCCCS, HIPAA & DDD requirements
- Respond to medical emergencies and support infection control practices
- Oversee clinical operations and ensure compliance with Arizona DHS Home Health Agency regulations
- Review clinical documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with agency and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and service quality
Experience
- Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, home health, hospice care, or acute care environments.
Qualifications
- Current Arizona RN license
- CPR & First Aid certified
- Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- 3+ years nursing experience (home health/residential)
- Experience with DDD services preferred
- Knowledge of AHCCCS & DDD policies
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50.00 per hour
