What You’ll Do
· Wash dishes and lab equipment in support of the compounding technicians (approximately 4 hours/day)
· Be the first friendly face – greet visitors and answer non-clinical questions.
· Handle calls like a pro – answer, route, and assist with inquiries.
· Process prescription and OTC sales with accuracy and care.
· Manage daily cash flow – opening/closing tills and preparing deposits.
· Coordinate mail-out prescriptions, verify shipping details, and process payments.
· Keep patients in the loop – call or text when prescriptions are ready.
· Organize and maintain prescription reminders.
· Ensure pharmacist consultations for all new prescriptions.
· Protect privacy – maintain HIPAA compliance and patient signature logs.
· Fax refill requests and manage seminar RSVPs.
· Keep our space welcoming – maintain lobby, restrooms, and breakroom.
· Stock and organize OTC products, monitor expiration dates, and create signage.
· Educate customers on promotions, seminars, and services.
· Assist with lab equipment cleaning and supply monitoring.
What We’re Looking For
· Preferred: Tech Trainee License (Arizona State Board of Pharmacy)
· High School Diploma/GED
· Strong PC skills and tech-savvy mindset
· Customer service experience (bonus points!)
· Excellent communication – written and verbal
· Professional, courteous, and detail-oriented
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
· Problem-solving skills and adaptability
· Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs
