Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems
- Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments
- Upsell menu items, beverages, and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks promptly, including wine, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and beverage stations
- Assist with bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and ensuring guest comfort at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and proper food presentation
- Manage guest seating efficiently
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on food pairings, wine selections, and drink options
Requirements
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment; fine dining experience is a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and process sales efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Basic math skills for processing payments and calculating bills
- Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays in an outdoor golf club setting
