Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Handle chemical agents safely, including mixing, applying, and disposing of floor cleaning chemicals and floor waxing products in accordance with safety protocols.
- Carry out manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of equipment or supplies while adhering to proper ergonomic practices.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, safety procedures, and supply inventories to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services with a focus on floor care and environmental services.
- Skilled in operating various cleaning equipment including floor buffers, scrubbers, waxers, and carpet cleaners.
- Knowledge of floor cleaning chemicals, their proper handling, application techniques, and safety measures.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Expertise in floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, and overall floor maintenance techniques.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients or building occupants.
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to chemical agent handling and environmental health standards.
