Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Licensed Home Inspector to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform thorough inspections of residential properties, including structural elements, roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and interior components.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand building specifications and identify potential issues.
- Conduct quality control and quality inspection checks during various stages of construction or renovation projects.
- Collect detailed data on property conditions, documenting findings with photographs and written reports for clients and stakeholders.
- Analyze inspection results to identify defects, code violations, or safety hazards; provide clear recommendations for repairs or improvements.
- Collaborate with construction management teams to ensure compliance with contracts, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Utilize construction site experience to assess the integrity of structures and pipelines, ensuring all work meets industry standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction inspection or home inspection roles with a strong understanding of construction management processes.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and quality assurance practices within residential or commercial construction projects.
- Familiarity with construction site operations, including pipeline installation and general construction workflows.
- Strong analysis skills to evaluate complex data sets and identify issues efficiently.
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in environments requiring detailed data collection and documentation.
- Valid license as a Home Inspector in accordance with state or local regulations; additional certifications in construction or safety are a plus. Pay: $51,097.71 - $61,537.03 per year
