Are you an early riser who enjoys creating a welcoming experience for guests? Best Western Plus Marquette is seeking a dependable, friendly, and hardworking Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The Breakfast Attendant plays an important role in ensuring our guests start their day with a clean, well-stocked, and inviting breakfast experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet before service begins.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked breakfast area throughout service.
- Cook and replenish hot breakfast items according to hotel standards.
- Greet guests with a friendly, professional attitude and provide excellent customer service.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Clean and sanitize the breakfast area, kitchen, dining room, and equipment after service.
- Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
- Assist with inventory and notify management when supplies are running low.
- Occasionally assist with light housekeeping or laundry duties as needed.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous food service or hospitality experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds throughout the shift.
- Must be able to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Schedule
Typical shifts begin early in the morning, generally between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM, and include weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
