Full-Time Lead Teacher
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Lead Teacher to join our childcare team. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, has strong classroom management skills, and is committed to creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare setting.
- Must possess ECE (Early Childhood Education) credits or a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential.
- Experience with lesson planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, families, and fellow staff members.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and classroom activities that support children's developmental growth.
- Create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Observe and assess children's progress and adjust activities as needed.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's daily activities, milestones, and needs.
- Utilize childcare communication platforms to provide parents with daily updates, photos, and messages throughout the day.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure consistency in classroom routines and program goals.
- Adhere to all state licensing regulations and center policies and procedures.
Required Certifications (must be current and not close to expiration):
- Gateways Registry membership and required Gateways trainings
- Food Handler Certificate
- Mandated Reporter Training Certificate
- CPR and First Aid Certification

- Dependable, organized, and punctual
- Passionate about working with young children
- Strong problem-solving and classroom management skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
