Role Overview
The General Manager oversees daily operations, supports team performance, maintains quality and safety standards, and ensures customers receive exceptional service. This role plays a key part in operational consistency, staff development, and overall center performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily shop operations and manage staff
- Maintain workflow, production schedules, and quality control
- Support customer satisfaction and assist with issue resolution
- Oversee inventory, supplies, and equipment
- Build relationships with insurance partners and vendors
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
- Monitor financial performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Recruit and onboard new team members
Qualifications
- 3+ years in collision repair or body shop management
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of industry practices, insurance processes, and repair standards
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
