Duties
- Greet customers warmly upon arrival and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Explain repair recommendations clearly, including auto estimating and service writing, ensuring customers are well-informed about their vehicle’s condition
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of services such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, suspension work, tire services, alignments, shocks & struts, diesel engine repairs, air brake systems, and auto body repairs
- Upsell appropriate maintenance services and repairs by highlighting benefits that enhance vehicle performance and safety
- Manage cash handling transactions accurately while maintaining detailed records of all service orders and customer interactions
- Maintain a thorough understanding of automotive diagnostics to assist in explaining complex repair procedures to customers
- Promote dealership services proactively to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction remains the top priority
- Keep detailed records of all service activities, including vehicle history and repair documentation
Skills
- Proven dealership experience with a strong background in auto service management and customer relations
- Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures such as transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, wheel alignments, suspension work, tire service, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repairs
- Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining integrity and transparency with customers
- Experience with auto estimating software and service writing processes
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to build trust and rapport with clients
- Familiarity with automotive sales techniques to assist in automobile sales when appropriate
- Excellent communication skills for explaining technical issues clearly to customers of varying levels of automotive knowledge
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain detailed records of all financial activities

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
