This is a full-time position; the schedule for this position is 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm; and rotating holidays.
The receptionist greets and directs visitors, completes administrative tasks, and handles a high volume of both routine and complex incoming, outgoing and inter-office telephone calls. Must have the ability to multi-task under pressure with a strong focus on exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Answer telephones promptly in a professional, efficient and caring manner
- Answer caller’s questions or direct calls to appropriate personnel
- Take, relay and route messages as necessary
- Greet and direct visitors
- Manage the OOO Calendar and coordinate information provided
- Manage database (Scotland Yard) with employee information
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of office and kitchen supplies
- Distribute mail, faxes, and deliveries and help coordinate delivery to satellite offices
- Process appropriate death certificates and coordinate with by MDs & NPs in timely manner
- Coordinate and process death certificate corrections
- Maintain a positive and helpful environment
- Maintain clean and pleasant work environment
- Field staff questions
- Work with heavy interruptions while handling multiple duties
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements
- High School diploma required plus one year work experience
- May be required to sit at a computer monitor and use repetitive motion techniques for prolonged periods of time
- Must have sensory abilities to complete communication and documentation requirements of the job
- May be required to lift up to 50 pounds
- Master necessary TL agency software
- Computer literate, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Ability to work scheduled and/or unscheduled overtime; at times with short notice
Environmental Factors
- Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment
