Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This position involves a variety of cleaning tasks across different environments, including commercial, industrial, and residential spaces. The Cleaner will contribute to creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere for both employees and visitors.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in various settings, including offices, restrooms, and common areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned areas through effective custodial practices.
- Conduct industrial cleaning duties as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Execute floor care responsibilities such as buffing, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain high-quality surfaces.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support overall operations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning schedules are met efficiently.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Occasionally assist with residential painting projects when required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and maintenance of various surfaces.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- A commitment to safety practices while performing cleaning duties.
