American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab travel position in Sierra Vista, AZ, requiring at least 2 years of diagnostic and interventional cardiology experience with IR float responsibilities.

Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a 90-bed hospital in Sierra Vista, AZ
-
Interventional cardiology specialty serving an adult patient population
-
Common diagnoses and treatments include coronary artery disease (CAD)
-
Procedures include diagnostic and interventional cath, stress testing, TEE, tilt table testing, and occasional IR procedures (vascular embolization, port placement, vascular stenting, nephrostomy tube)

Preferred experience with manifold, IVUS, FFR, IVL, Impella, IABP, and pre/post care
-
IR float required
-
GE equipment used for fluoroscopy; transitioning to a new hemodynamics system

Cerner EMR
-
Shift hours: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

On-call required on weekends; call requirements exceed 12 days per contract

Every other weekend commitment required

36 hours per week

Active AZ RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand

AHA-issued BLS and any other AHA certifications required for the role

Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac cath lab nursing
-
Experience with both diagnostic and interventional cath procedures required

IR experience required

Cerner EMR experience preferred

Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate

Bi-weekly orientation schedule

Hospital-provided scrubs

Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months

Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment

Sierra Vista is located in southeastern Arizona, approximately 75 miles southeast of Tucson, in a scenic high desert setting near Fort Huachuca and various state and national parks
