Job Summary
Join our team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver! In this vital role, you will operate a Tri-Axle dump truck hauling asphalt equipment and different types of materials. Asphalt, Road Base, Fill Dirt, Etc.
Duties
- Safely operate Tri-Axle dump truck and trailer while complying with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before hitting the road.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission trucks preferred.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving.
- Knowledge of Asphalt Hauling is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for truck loading/unloading.
- Ability to manually handle cargo safely using appropriate equipment; physical stamina for manual handling tasks required.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance with DOT regulations, and hazard awareness.
We are a local family owned company. All of our work is in the Pasco, Pinellas, Hillsborough, and Hernando Counties. We are a full service asphalt company. You will be responsible for hauling equipment to and from the job site and hauling hot asphalt.
Looking for part time driver. 3-4 days per week. Some weeks might be 2 days and some weeks might be 5 days.
Pay: $250.00 per day
