The Risk Management Coordinator performs a variety of administrative and clerical duties in order to ensure effective and efficient office operations. Provides assistance to department management, co-workers, and the general public as required.
Essential Functions:

Files workers' compensation claims.

Generates various reports.

Files documents.
-
Answers and directs incoming calls.
- Greets people at the window.

Retrieves and distributes department mail.
Non-Essential Functions:

Attends meetings and trainings.

Retrieves titles and tags for county vehicles.

Performs all other related duties as required.

Driving may be required.
Qualifications: Education and Work Experience

Requires an Associate’s degree in an insurance related field supplemented by one year experience or a high school diploma supplemented by two years experience in the insurance field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Requires effective oral and written communication skills, proficiency in Word and Excel, and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Must be a Notary Public or able to obtain upon employment.
