Bay Wellness Group is growing, and we’re looking for a full-time Psychometrist to join our psychological testing team in Panama City Beach, Florida.
Bay Wellness Group is an integrated care practice providing counseling, psychiatry, psychological testing, and medical services. Our psychological testing program provides comprehensive evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults, and we’re looking for someone who is interested in building a career in psychological assessment.
What You’ll Do
Working under the supervision of a licensed psychologist, the Psychometrist will:
- Administer standardized psychological, cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
- Score and verify psychological testing instruments
- Conduct structured patient interviews and gather relevant background information
- Observe and document patient behavior during testing
- Prepare testing materials and maintain organized assessment records
- Ensure standardized testing procedures are followed consistently
- Assist with testing documentation and report preparation
- Coordinate with psychologists and other members of our multidisciplinary team
- Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Who We’re Looking For
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, or a closely related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to learn and consistently follow standardized testing procedures
- Professional and compassionate approach to working with patients
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a clinical team
Preferred:
- Previous experience administering or scoring psychological assessments
- Master’s degree in Psychology or a related field
- Experience working in behavioral health, psychological testing, or a related clinical environment
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults
Previous psychometrist experience is preferred but not required. Training may be provided for the right candidate.
Compensation
$46,000–$56,000 annually
Starting compensation will be based on education, relevant experience, and demonstrated competency with psychological assessment administration and scoring.
