Plan and implement a full-day, year-round, developmentally appropriate curriculum including weekly themes and lesson plans, inclusion of theme-related materials, and rotation of toys and equipment on a regular basis. Provide safe, responsive, stimulating environment by actively engaging oneself in daily activities and routines. Form and maintain professional relationship with parents and families. Assess all areas of development of children using the Creative Curriculum. Develop and maintain portfolio for each child. Conduct two parent-teacher conferences per year with each family.
Responsible for supervision and direction of full-time teachers, assistant teachers, part-time assistant teacher(s), and part-time aide(s). Maintain all certifications as required. Ensure compliance with all Georgia Department of Early Care & Learning rules and regulations.
Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent, or must be enrolled in CDA program. Minimum of two years experiences in direct care of young children (birth-5 years).
B.A./B.S. in Early Childhood Education or related field; teacher licensure in early childhood. Minimum of two years experiences in direct care of young children (birth-5 years).
