Duties
- Greet guests with enthusiasm and professionalism as they arrive, making them feel valued and comfortable
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently
- Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction
- Assist with guest inquiries regarding menu items, restaurant policies, or special requests to enhance their experience
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth flow of service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host area to uphold high standards of hospitality
Requirements
- Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Experience working with restaurant POS systems is a plus
- Excellent guest relations skills to handle inquiries professionally
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of hospitality standards, including guest services and serving practices, is desirable
- Previous hotel or guest services experience can be advantageous but is not required
